In this elective, you’ll explore how visual elements like images and typography communicate ideas with impact. Throughout the course, you’ll apply the design process to create captivating artworks for specific purposes and audiences, mastering the use of design elements, principles, typography, and layout to develop your unique design concepts.


You’ll have the opportunity to bring your creativity to life by crafting the branding for small businesses for example a mobile food truck. From crafting an eye-catching logo to designing the business advertisements, you’ll be empowered to shape the business’ identity and leave a lasting impression. Utilising both traditional manual techniques and digital tools, you’ll present your final presentations with confidence and be inspired by the works of renowned designers to infuse your ideas with intriguing and creative typography.
